He seems focused on getting things running quickly rather than spending time on long tests. The concern about fans might be distracting. Starting from a standstill should give a reliable idle reading, and if the mount or pasteurization isn’t working, you’ll notice it right away. If the temperatures appear instantly, there’s likely another issue. The air cooler he purchased was clearly insufficient, and the 240 AIO model is quite standard. Plus, it’s unclear if the pump was properly connected.

Thanks for the updates. Everything seems to be set up properly with no problems. I’ve installed two units on both my PCs and my wife’s, and everything worked smoothly. The installation followed the instructions in the manual, and I removed the sticker from the bottom as recommended. There are three intake fans and one external fan for ventilation. Regarding the cooler, I’m considering a new case and looking for a CPU cooler under $50 if needed. A case should cost around $100. I’ll share some suggestions soon.

Sometimes it's tough to install a cooler correctly, and your choice might have slipped from good to not so good. I’d suggest the Noctua nh-d15—they’re super easy to fit in and built well, offering solid cooling for your CPU. I own a Noctua U12S and my 5800x3D, which runs hotter, but it stays around 35°C when idle and hits about 79°C under full load (all cores at 100%). My setup works fine with the right fans, though results depend on your specific configuration. The back panel has a honeycomb pattern, which helps pull in dust and bring in fresh air—though this can be a downside if you need extra cleaning or maintenance.

I reviewed a tutorial about setting up the AIO cooler, and I believe I connected the pump to the incorrect pins on the motherboard. I’ll attempt it again this evening and let you know the outcome!

I installed the AIO incorrectly. I found a tutorial video and followed the steps, so everything is now running smoothly at around 55°C idle, reaching up to 70°C during gameplay. I think the initial absence of a proper CPU fan and the wrong installation were the main reasons for the problems. Thanks everyone for your assistance—I really value it!
