I assembled a new AMD 3600 PC with an Asus Prime X570-P board. Initially, I had 16 GB of t-force 3200 MHz RAM, but it only recognized up to 2400 MHz. After adjusting settings as recommended, a RAM stick failed and I replaced it with two new 16 GB modules at the same speed. Now they operate at 2133 MHz instead of the intended 3200. Is there an issue with my motherboard?

It simply indicates they chose their standard setting, so you’ll have to “boost” them. You can do this either by adjusting it directly or using XMP settings in the BIOS. This is completely typical.

I attempted that, but now my computer sounds like it's taking off and it's not posting.

Consider testing around 2933 or 3000MHz. I faced the same problem on my setup with a 2700MHz board, which restricts running a 3200MHz kit due to compatibility or controller issues. 2933 seemed to be the highest I could get.

If posting stops, clear CMOS via the CLRTC pin on the motherboard. https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1040820/ You’ll have to configure RAM voltage, clock speed, and CAS latency yourself instead of relying on XMP.
