You discovered this during a Microsoft Xbox One press event on GamesCom. On Twitch, at 01:52:04, the Halo channel’s screen expanded beyond the TV display... then a Surface 3 appeared alongside it. Later, the presenter mentioned the Channel would support Windows and Xbox One. She added that you could launch *Halo: Master Chief Collection* through the Channel. Could this imply a PC version of Halo? Or something comparable to Steam In-Home Streaming and Nvidia Shield? What are your thoughts? Here’s the Twitch link: http://www.twitch.tv/xbox/b/557319887. The CEO of 343 Entertainment also stated next-gen graphics would be available via the Master Chief Collection. Halo for PC confirmed.

I struggle to understand what’s displayed on the screen, yet I noticed the phrase "forward unto dawn." I’m hoping for a positive outcome, but I anticipate letdowns. Microsoft clearly lacks the ability to deliver strong results like bringing this to a PC.

I've enjoyed Halo since Halo 2, and I still have the PC version. It would be great! You don't have to purchase a console to play it.

Microsoft celebrates the Halo anniversary just for Windows 9 Direct X12. Seriously, it feels like they’re focusing more on trends than actual gaming. "Sapport PC gaming" sounds like a joke.

They genuinely could try this to increase sales of Windows 8.

Also, @LinuxTech and @Slick, this should definitely make it to the WAN segment.

I found it intriguing that the 'Halo channel' was announced for Xbox and Windows; this might signal the beginning of a media-hub system, easily adaptable for any franchise.

They should, but they don’t. It’s Microsoft for some reason, wanting to back Xbox over the product that brings in more revenue than anything else they offer. Absolutely. If they were wise, they’d launch both and let PC and Xbox players enjoy Halo together. That won’t occur, but it would make sense (to prove they can surpass Sony’s playstation dominance).

Before Windows 8 launched and Halo 4 hit shelves together, I sent an email to my friend Bill suggesting he drop a PC version of Halo at the same time. He might have checked it!
