Additional more sata connectors available for the old PasU
Additional more sata connectors available for the old PasU
Hello, I'm having trouble figuring out my problem.
On an old PC I own a non-modular PSU: Corsair TX750.
I've run out of SATA connectors but still have plenty of 4 Pin, 6+2 Pin and 8 pin male connectors.
But I can't locate SATA power cables with female connectors that match the available male connectors.
Is there a place where I can find this?
Is this a challenging issue to resolve?
I also have a spare SATA cable from a modular PSU with a 6 pin male connector, but I can't find an adapter for the connectors on the Corsair PSU.
Anyone have suggestions or assistance with this?
Thanks in advance.
How many SATA ports does your power supply unit contain? What types of drives are connected, and what are their dimensions?
Your PSU needs many Molex connectors.
Use a Molex to SATA adapter.
These drives have a capacity of 8x small ones, which can be resolved by using 2x larger capacity drives.
Would you like to acquire eight 18TB drives? What are their intended purposes?
Consider checking an external drive bay for this setup.
