Hello, I recently got my son a new pre-built PC. It's a Ryzen 5 3600 with Windows 11, 16GB RAM, a 3060 graphics card, a 1TB Samsung Evo SSD, an RTX 750 PSU, and an Asus B550M-K motherboard. All drivers are current. Whenever he starts a game, it crashes. I ran a benchmark on Heaven Benchmark too—it crashed as well, showing GPU access issues. Temperatures are normal, no unusual GPU or CPU usage. I’m running out of solutions and might consider returning the machine. Thanks for your help!

The crash indicates a defective component or an incorrect Windows installation, so avoid attempting repairs. Don’t install anything new if this happens when starting a game. Send it back for replacement, as you’ll receive the benefit of a ready-made unit.

Alternatively, you might take apart or reassemble the setup to verify all connections are correct. Restore CMOS settings and refresh the BIOS. Reinstall Windows using everything you previously purchased for vendor-supported installation.

They aim to push it to its limits so you can verify its reliability. Bring it back and challenge them.
