I've been gaming on my older Corsair One i160 (rtx 2080ti) while I wait for the cpu of my main machine to come back from delidding. Made my way through halo ce with anniversary graphics just fine with no issues up until the pvt. jenkins recording on the 343 guilty spark mission which had some pretty alarming visual bugs that i've captured in the video below. I did a thorough removal and reinstall of all my graphics drivers and nothing seems to have changed. Even before the reinstall everything including cutscenes from the much more graphically demanding halo infinite were working perfectly fine. There are no issues with this cutscene on classic graphics. Did 343 really manage to fuck up the remaster of such an iconic cutscene this badly? (youtube is taking forever to process the hd version of this video, the bugs should still be visible if you watch it before youtube finishes taking its time with the hd version)
Yes, there were visual issues in one game when adjusting the graphics settings.
I don’t recall noticing anything unusual during your session. That setup included an i7-870, 8GB RAM, and a GTX 660 OC.
Once my main PC is back online, I’ll rewatch the same cutscene to verify if issues persist. My system’s card is a nearly 3-year-old 2080TI—any chance of age-related harm now? (temperatures look normal.)
