I'm using Windows 10 Pro and recently got an update about a week ago. Since then, I've encountered some issues that haven't happened before. The first problem is ID 214 – the installation of Microsoft Windows Communications Apps failed with error code S-1-5-21-1264548-2663833287-641794853-1001. The message says resources are in use. The second issue involves an Appx operation that couldn't register, showing a specific error about needing other apps closed. It's confusing because it took a week after the update to see these problems, even though I've seen similar errors before with different IDs.

Is your Mail app functioning properly? The communication tools often mention these. If they begin, you can look in the Microsoft Store for any pending updates and install them for the Mail app. Should there be none, you might remove them and reinstall using the Store again. Otherwise, there’s little cause for concern. This note simply means the app isn’t installing because it’s already active.
