Additional bios and related information
For BIOS purposes, most users only need to turn on XMP (or EXPO/DOCP for AMD). Some extra adjustments depend on the situation: For SAM/reBar, activate Re-Size BAR Support and ensure above 4G decoding is active if it's off by default. On AMD CPUs, think about turning on PBO/Curve optimizer for automatic undervolting. If you run Virtual Machines, make sure virtualization is enabled in BIOS, unless it's already on.
By default, treat settings cautiously unless you’re certain. Use standard options first—they usually work well and you rarely need to adjust them. Exceptions exist for heavy overclocking, where expert advice is advisable. For unique scenarios, look for detailed instructions that explain the necessary changes.
