Hey there! I own a Dell Vostro 7580 with 8GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM in one slot, leaving the second slot empty. I realized that this setup might be limiting, so I considered an upgrade. Financially, adding another 8GB stick seemed like the best option, but I checked compatibility concerns. The RAM I have is a Micron model (mta8atf1g64hz-2g6e1), which isn’t widely available anymore and costs much more than similar options. However, searching for a comparable Crucial stick turned up a similar model that’s still sold. Since Crucial is a brand of Micron, it looks promising. I went ahead and bought it, and it performed perfectly.

It should be okay. Most RAM manufacturers will likely function properly. A solid option, in my opinion.

Consider giving it a shot. The result might vary, so feel free to return it if needed. It seems fairly similar to what you currently have, which increases your chances of success.

It seems a bit vague. Could you clarify what you mean?
