When the Windows setup cannot locate your storage drive, this issue does not relate to motherboard drivers.

Yes, it's just to put in a driver that might be needed for a RAID card or similar. In short, unless you're unsure about its purpose, you probably don't need it right now.

Typically a RAID controller or devices like the 840 Evo require an update prior to use.
