If purchased from Amazon within the last 30 days, the seller can simply request a replacement through Amazon. Navigate to your orders and select the return or replace option. The RMA process is only applicable outside the standard return window and tends to be slower, often resulting in no new item being provided. When opting for a replacement via Amazon, they will dispatch a new unit immediately and allow 30 days for the defective item to be returned. A fresh product typically arrives within a few days, though it may take several weeks to receive a used replacement through RMA.
I tested a 3080 on an RM650x without issues, though upgrading seems sensible for better durability. Sadly, it didn’t work out.
This setup is quite overpowered, and now we're dealing with a lot fewer aggressive boosts compared to the 3080. A launch version of the 3080 would have been improbable, but still achievable. Upgrading the power supply would be a good idea, as you mentioned.
