Did you verify every link? It’s possible you disconnected another connector from the MB during installation of the fan.

Did you insert the connector into the right slot? Some motherboards have similar connectors, leading to a feedback loop that may halt the boot sequence. If needed, reposition the CPU.

CPU indicator is blinking and power supply is toggling on and off. Everything appears intact. I connected the fan to my six-way hub. I plan to reposition the CPU later with an ESD strap to prevent this issue.
