I observed that my NVIDIA card in the laptop gets triggered by Paint3D even when the program isn't running. I can see it in Task Manager, but I haven't opened it myself. When I close it with Task Manager, it disappears. But if I launch it again, create a drawing, and then close it, the GPU stays active and it reappears in Task Manager.

Access > Settings (gear icon) > Privacy > Background apps Ensure Paint3D isn't running in the background.

It appears to occur after launching Paint 3D, using it, and then closing the application—it remains open afterward.
