Turned off adaptive settings earlier and switched to in-game Vsync for improved performance, great difference!

I prefer using the VSYNC lag first before tearing... Adaptive isn't great, but it still crashes like a mofo.

I didn’t experience intense grinding in Diablo III, just occasional FPS drops, but those issues are now resolved.

Diablo 3 you have to also limit your Foreground FPS to 60 and even then, with vsync it still stutters, it has been that way since release. And when I say tear I mean getting 60 FPS screen tearing/stuttering. A lot of people think screen tearing means dropping to low FPS Then there's the whole 4P game in cesspools/Act 4/Act 3 bridge where your FPS drops below 10 whenever action happens, you could have a 5960k with 4 Titan X's and it will still happen

I favor triple buffered vsync when it fails. I rely on adaptive vsync instead.
