I'm using a WiFi USB adapter that powers down unexpectedly during downloads. The only solution so far is toggling the Wi-Fi on and off, which restores it. I've changed the adapter, but the issue continues. It seems to be related to the power supply unit. My PC is nearing six years old, and I can't afford replacements—any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Occasionally the issue stems from driver mismatch or weak router signal. Consider changing to a different channel and test again. Have you experimented with a different USB connection?
