You may need to enter the gateway directly using a web browser. The problem is I don’t use Xfinity’s poor gateways, so I won’t let my family pay another $156 annually for rent. If you can’t locate the settings, contact Xfinity—they have a hidden option to modify any setting. Sure, the CSR might not understand what Moca is, but it’s worth trying.
Checking if the login details are correct: username is admin, password should be your Xfinity password. If it doesn’t work, verify the credentials.
It seems the admin uses the default password "password." Make sure it hasn't been altered.
It's now active on my network, but I haven't yet connected the Ethernet cable. We're almost there.
I entered the IP address and ran a Windows diagnostic. I attempted to restart the router and tried all other options except reaching out for clarification. The subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, which I believed required hiding it.
