He showed me some unusual Russian videos featuring i9 9900k mobile CPUs in the LGA 1511 socket. They’re labeled QQLS and claim similar performance to desktop models but at a price of around $160 on AliExpress. Anyone know what to say about these? It’d be great if Linus’ team looked into it. It's a similar setup to what's been used before, using a compact adapter board between the mobile and desktop configurations. These components tend to be inconsistent and may not function across all boards, especially since they're often engineering or early prototypes.
