Hi everyone, I'm working with an MSI B450 Tomahawk and a Ryzen 7 2700X. I've been using an 8GB Corsair DDR4 (CMK8GX4M1D3000C16 v3.31) with 3000MHz XMP enabled at 2933MHz for four years without any problems. Recently, I upgraded to two 16GB Corsair 3200MHz sticks (CMK16GX4M1E3200C16 v3.41). My BIOS now has two XMP profiles—2933 and 3200—and switching between them causes a blue screen. The issue seems to appear after about ten to twenty minutes, especially when browsing the BSOD menu right after opening a new tab. What should I do now?

Run memtest using the freshly installed RAM (with XMP turned off). Any detected issues should prompt you to return the new memory.

Disable the profile in bios and adjust the dram voltage to 1.35v, set frequency to 3200 and primary timings manually. Keep the rest at auto. In bios it should read: 16-20-20-20-20-38.

I completed a single run of memtest, but it finished successfully. I've been using it at 2133 for a few days without issues. The RAM is brand new, and I don’t see any problems. I only notice beeps when XMP is enabled. Thank you.

I adjusted the speed and timing settings, started the boot, and ran Cinebench 24. It gave a better score at 2133mhz (587 vs 552), but once I opened Forza Horizon 5 it took a while to load and then crashed, bringing me back down to 2133mhz.

I notice the latest Bios updates. Once you refresh, configure boot settings, enable secure boot, turn off CSM and default RAM (auto 2133). Navigate to Windows and verify IMC voltages. Return to BIOS, adjust voltage to match the default setting. Reconfigure RAM to manual mode 3200 with timings and 1.35V as previously specified. If instability persists at IMC voltage, recheck and proceed further if needed.

My profile is up to date, secure boot is active and turned off, and I’m using only UEFI. I’ll start researching how to adjust those voltages—I’ve never done that before.
