It should be straightforward to wake on login using a basic ping, like the one explained on TechWalla. You can build a batch file with the command to trigger it easily. It might also be possible to set up a shortcut to your NAS and pair it with that batch. Edit: A .bat script could first ping the NAS and then open the desired folder using Explorer. I’m not certain the NAS will respond quickly enough, so testing it would be wise.
