You have the option to disable your grandmother’s Windows setup, possibly requiring activation via phone. You can transfer OEM licenses between devices. I successfully transferred Windows 7 from a Toshiba laptop to an upgraded HP server.

You cannot connect one key to two computers. Even after upgrading, it remains the same key. OEM refers to a license meant for use only on the specific device it’s installed on.
