Activating XMP with a 2x16GB 3600MHz C18 DDR4 RAM triggers the system into safe mode.
hiya peeps, i recently finished my first build, and i decided to finally try to get my memory running at its rated speeds. i entered the bios and went to ez mode, and i turned on xmp. then i saved and exited, but the computer took a little longer to restart and eventually told me that it had posted into safe mode. i tried messing around with a lot of settings and none of them worked, so here i am, asking for assistance. what can i do to get the memory working at its rated speeds? here's what i tried or found while looking stuff up: - changing some ratio thingies - changing between xmp 1 or xmp 2 - t1 vs t2 - increasing voltage specs: intel core i7 13700k asus rog strix z690a wifi gaming d4 corsair vengeance rgb pro sl 2x18gb 3600mhz c18 ddr4 sabrent 1tb rocket 4 plus nvme pcie gen4 m.2 ssd ek aio drgb 360mm corsair 4000x rgb corsair rm750x (2021) evga geforce rtx 3070 ftw3 ultra gaming please excuse my noobiness x( and thank you to whoever helps out!!
It seems the setup isn't quite right. Are you asking if it works only at 2133MHz and whether the C18 latency affects games like Minecraft or Geometry Dash?
