1- Navigate to Settings, then Update & Security, and choose Update Windows 10 to the newest release.
2- Go back to Settings, select Update & Security, and tap Activation.

Based on the original Windows 10 setup, run the media creation utility once more to upgrade to the latest version, the November release. This upgrade introduces the option to activate Windows 10 using 7 and 8 activation keys.

OEM from manufacturers like Dell or HP, System Builder OEM (available in stores), retail packaging, MSDN purchase, or MSDNAA/DreamSpark Premium for educational use? I wanted to clarify since Microsoft hasn't clearly defined which product key works with activation.
