It works either way. The mention of CPU and PCIe indicates that both cables can connect to the same ports regardless of the specific connectors chosen.

On either side of the PSU, the cables connect the 12V and ground to the board or GPU. It's crucial to avoid forcing EPS from the CPU into the GPU and vice versa.

CPU and GPU power connections both use four 12V cables and four ground cables. The board’s design changes slightly when connecting, but the way the swappable cables are connected works well. You’re free to use any of the four connectors.

Thanks for your help. I noticed the two cables labeled with CPU and they connected properly into the CPU and PCIe ports. System started up successfully.
