When purchasing a laptop with preloaded Windows 10, I understand the activation relies on the BIOS and an internet connection to enable it. With Windows now featuring a digital license, I can easily reset the disk and perform a fresh installation of the same edition without concerns about activation. But when MSOffice Home & Student is included, how does activation proceed? Is there a specific key involved? Also, what are the options if I need a clean install after formatting?

Is this a 30-day trial of Office? If not, and it is already fully licensed, the license key should be included in the documentation you receive with it. Additionally, Belarc Advisor should be able to fetch the valid license key for it.
