Without a dedicated PC or separate device to manage system wake-up, this task isn't feasible. When the system is in sleep mode, it's not active.

I wasn't too concerned, I figured it could happen since my mic stayed on when the computer shut down, and I thought Cortana might be involved.

The microphone is fully functional since most computers don’t prioritize power saving by default. It doesn’t depend on a battery, so USB connections remain active. Additionally, it could let the keyboard and mouse activate the system.
