I did that and at first it was the same issue. I turned off the power a few times before it finally booted on the third try. No explanation. Now I have both RAMs installed. Thanks. My single slower RAM had these specs: 3200MHz, 3000MHz CAS latency 16, 16 tRCDRD, 20 18 tRCDWR, 20 18 tRP, 20 18 tRAS, 38 36 tRC, 58 55 tWR, 24 23 tCWL, 18 - tRRD_S, 6 6 after plugging in the faster one. After changing to the faster RAM in the second slot, I tried to set all parameters to 3200 MHz and saved. The PC started, then stopped, then came back on, but didn’t boot. I turned it off and on again. In BIOS I see the numbers, but they didn’t change anything. Both RAMs still show 2666MHz and 1.35V, even though the voltage is different. The new timings are terrible—they’re worse than either original spec.

It seems the A320M with Ryzen 5 2600 doesn't support 32GB according to that document. This is quite frustrating. I lack the expertise to decide whether splitting the 16GB into two single-channel sticks would work or if I should stick with one 8GB unit in dual channel. I’m unsure how the system is actually configured right now.
