I'm using a Ryzen 7 5800x with a B550 motherboard, but my TPM 2.0 isn't enabling for the Windows 11 update. I followed the guide at https://help.maingear.com/article/81-how...md-systems, but it didn't work. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Which board are you referring to? Because TPM chips weren't required beyond supporting BitLocker, many B550 boards likely lack them.

I believed AMD CPUs include a TPM internally and that activating it in the UEFI settings was sufficient.

Most people online believe this, yet I've tested every solution and none succeeded.

compatibility support module (CSM) is active, sometimes referred to as legacy mode. since it's enabled, you should back up important data before proceeding, as you may need to repartition your drive to boot from it. to verify, open Disk Management, search for the disk in the Windows search bar, right-click a disk in the lower section, select Properties, and navigate to the Volumes tab. if it shows MBR in partition style, you're likely on legacy/CSM and may not be able to access Windows 11. if it displays GPT, it suggests UEFI setup and another issue is present.
