Are there any trustworthy places to buy Windows 10 at a discount? Thanks, Bryant.

You can start a Windows 10 setup using any Windows 7 or 8 key. It might even work with an OEM key from an old PC or laptop… It’s not worth spending money on Windows these days!

I found my keys on eBay. If they aren’t there, eBay probably has a way to help. Also, look at the seller’s reviews.

Great! I'll take a closer look at this as well.

I've tried this technique to turn on Windows 10 on three different computers...it works consistently and typically stays under $5.

Microsoft store, Newegg, and other shops. The rest aren't what I'd consider trustworthy.

I mean that the keys must function properly or they won't work. If they're not valid, you request a refund. Generally, I've faced no problems using the product keys I bought on eBay... though I usually don't activate Windows since it retains 99% of its features anyway. A 'Activate Windows' watermark in the corner is fine for me.

The question is about why Microsoft isn't compensating you for the data they gather and sell.
