Hey everyone. I just got a new connection and upgraded from older ADSL to VDSL. The provider’s rep only changed the router settings, took about a week, and now I’m on VDSL. Before, my ADSL router was connected to my TP Link router via WAN port, and then to my PC through an Ethernet cable. This setup caused weak Wi-Fi from the ADSL. The VDSL router itself works fine, but using it with the TP Link router gave me decent speeds. However, my TP Link router is now giving me only half the speed I expect—around 15Mbps. If I connect the VDSL ISP router directly to my PC’s network port, I get full speed. The 14 Mbps drop happens when I use the TP Link route. Can someone clarify how to fix this?
