Achieving a frame rate of 60 frames per second in a game, yet not seeing it reflected visually on the screen.
Greetings.
I’m experiencing an issue where my game displays 60 frames per second, but the gameplay doesn't feel fluid. It often feels like I’m experiencing 30 fps, despite the game reporting a rate of 60. Furthermore, I consistently encounter stuttering while playing.
I'm utilizing an Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro – Black Edition gaming laptop running Windows 10. My system specifications are as follows: 16GB of RAM, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M graphics card, and an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor clocked at 2.60GHz. My display is a standard Generic PnP Monitor connected through Intel HD Graphics 530 at 60 Hz. The average temperature of my GPU is 70°C, while the CPU maintains an average temperature of 90°C.
You can find more detailed information about my setup here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1tHQJLK...F81U4FB-st and https://drive.google.com/open?id=1tT8-oD...OmroMqAkPO.
I’m currently playing Rainbow Six Siege, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could offer some assistance in resolving this problem!
THANK YOU!
Your screen display is currently configured at 1536 by 836 pixels. Please revert to your monitor's original resolution when playing games. Additionally, confirm that you are utilizing your graphics card instead of Intel’s integrated graphics. Verify your adapter settings to ensure gaming is running at 1920 by 1080 with a refresh rate of 60 Hertz, utilizing an Nvidia graphics card. It might also be beneficial to adjust your Windows power settings to “High Performance.”
Greetings.
Recently, when I run my game at its intended display resolution, I’m only achieving approximately 40 frames per second even with my graphics settings set to the lowest possible levels. This hasn't been an issue previously! My game utilizes Nvidia graphics. I’m unable to determine my adapter settings and lack the expertise to investigate whether my Windows power mode is set to high performance. Furthermore, could overheating be a contributing factor in this situation?
Alright, could you tell me when you last refreshed your graphics card drivers?
I frequently experience pauses and interruptions in the game, regardless of when they occur. However, if I exit the game entirely and wait approximately ten seconds before returning, it often runs smoothly for a short period – about a minute – and then the stuttering returns. I suspect my storage device is a traditional hard disk drive, though I’m not entirely certain. The model number of my drive is TOSHIBA MQ01ABD100, as far as I know.
