Hello. I’m achieving approximately 50 frames per second with Grand Theft Auto V at its lowest settings. However, observing other players utilizing the same graphics card experience frame rates in the 60-80 range while employing maximum settings. My system temperatures are stable, and I haven't detected any performance limitations due to overheating or other bottlenecks.

Here are my system specifications:
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB of memory, AMD Ryzen 5 1400 processor, and 8GB of DDR4 RAM.

P.S. I am playing the game at a resolution of 1920x1080, and because I possess two displays, I was considering whether the secondary monitor might be influencing my frame rate performance.

Low-single-thread speed? Absolutely not, it's no surprise that many have stated the game was poorly optimized. I suspect Rockstar Games achieved significantly improved optimization with Red Dead Redemption 2.

Are the computer’s central processing unit and memory similarly configured? These elements significantly influence frame rates. Furthermore, if your secondary screen is merely showing your desktop background, a web browser, or another simple application, it won’t substantially impact performance. Additionally, reducing in-game graphics settings shifts processing demands toward the CPU rather than the graphics card, therefore it’s advisable to maintain all settings at maximum and adjust downwards gradually. Grand Theft Auto V particularly relies on the single-core performance of its processor, which means AMD systems may result in lower frame rates compared to Intel systems for this specific game.

Low single-core processing power? Absolutely not, and it's no surprise that many have voiced concerns about the game’s poor optimization. I believe Rockstar Games achieved a significantly improved level of optimization with Red Dead Redemption 2.

16 gigabytes of RAM is really the bare minimum for gaming, so you should seriously consider adding another 8 gigabytes and possibly upgrading your processor as well. Nevertheless, I don’t believe this will significantly impact performance for this particular game, considering it wasn't initially built to fully leverage available hardware. It’s remarkable that people continue to play it.

It’s great news – I received a substantial sum of money for the holidays, which means I can now improve my computer.
