Won 10 at 21H1. My Seagate Barracuda 1TB (2 years) is fully functional, running games at 20 fps with GPU RX 570. Performance exceeded 80fps. Stuttering was noticeable on RAM (8GB x 1300MHz). Tried disabling Windows Search, turning off Superfetch, installing a new antivirus, defragmenting, adjusting page size, pausing updates, and reinstalling Windows. Used OneDrive, SeaTools, and performed a SMART scan. HDs report 96% health with no errors; HDD condition appears normal. Installed Linux Mint to verify the drive was healthy, showing typical disk usage. No solutions found after all these steps. Browsing is the only activity possible right now. Make sure to choose a model with DRAM cache; others without it perform similarly to a standard, slower hard drive.
