Hi, I encountered an issue with my PC. The problem began when the power went out and the UPS failed. After turning it back on, the system entered startup recovery after three hours before shutting down automatically. Now I only see a black screen with a movable mouse. When I power on the PC, it displays starting windows but still shows the same black screen with the mouse.

Have you experimented with pressing control+alt+delete, launching Task Manager, checking the processes, and possibly opening Command Prompt?

I don’t have the ability to provide videos directly. Would you like me to help you find one online?

I've attempted it but nothing appears. I can't just see a black screen with the mouse. I can describe: a black desktop image, no taskbar, no icons—just a black screen and the mouse.

Attempted to restart, but it didn’t work. My computer began a startup repair for roughly 3–4 hours before the black screen appeared. Might indicate a graphics card issue?

Have you considered another card? It doesn’t seem like a RAM issue because the machine started up.

I don’t have a spare GPU, so I’m planning to bring it to a local PC shop for repairs. Appreciate all the support!
