Hey everyone, I'm trying to get my photo catalog on a network share so I can access it across my devices. Usually you can sync everything to the cloud, but Adobe only lets one workstation and one mobile device share the catalog. I have a workstation, a laptop, and my phone, so I want to use Lightroom in a way that makes sense since I pay for the license. Adobe suggests using an external storage like an SSD or HDD, but with fast networking I’d rather connect it to a network share. I’ve tried linking it via mklink, but the computer says no when I try to point to it. I can’t use it because it’s a network share. Any ideas? Cheers, Dennis

Assign the network share to a drive letter. After that, you can create a link to it.

Sadly the issue isn't resolved (though the link was accepted, Lightroom can't process it). I attempted to trick it, but it still rejects. Then I installed Nextcloud, which functioned perfectly—though it wasn’t the fix I hoped for; it worked smoothly.
