I'm not certain, that's why I'm reaching out. I sent an email to Acer support, but I didn't receive a reply. Only one store mentioned AC14B8K is compatible, which isn't something I can rely on. Besides, I haven't found any more details.

Occasionally you might discover batteries offering greater capacity, though they would still match the same voltage or number of cells. Swapping the 4-cell battery for the 3-cell version (the connectors look alike) puts you in danger of damaging the laptop.

The voltages are distinct. It seems the laptop won't be pleased with an additional four volts.

I put it in place and it functioned properly! However, I wouldn't suggest trying this approach.
