Here’s your list rephrased while keeping the same length and structure:

Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX (ATX)
I7 14700k
Nvme WD 2TB x1
Corsair Vengeance 16gb x2 6000mhz CL 30 DDR5
RTX 4090 (prefer the 5090 version)
For these components MSI recommends a power supply of 1014 watts, and I also need to include a Valkyrie Syn 360 cooler.
How reliable are these specifications?
What size PSU would you suggest based on Google’s information that the 5090 requires 150 watts more than the 4090?

When the 4090 was released, they suggested 1000 watts and 1200 watts just in case, which seems still accurate today.
The 4090 requires 450 watts and a 13700k will rise to about 253... unless you don’t overclock it, which is no longer advised for Intel CPUs. This setup uses only 700 watts, and the rest of the components should stay well below 100 watts overall.
Even with 1000 watts, there’s still room for unexpected power surges that graphics cards are known to cause.
If the 5090 consumes too much power, it will likely reach a point where you need a special power outlet in many U.S. homes. I think a 5090 should work fine with a 1200-watt supply as well.
It doesn’t really matter unless you’re willing to pay premium prices. The reviews will have all the necessary data before anyone can find a 5090 near its MSRP. I expect it to be available at least next summer or fall, when people might actually test and measure the required power.

Seems like an imbalance in resources.

However, I want to ask my question and think about the information from Google that states the 5090 uses a 600w 16-pin cable. Will that be sufficient to power the card once it's installed?

This setup would likely require a significant amount of memory, as 64GB is considered quite high.

Thank you for the response. The last device I constructed had 8GB of RAM in 2016, believing a 32GB would suffice.
