Hello, your notebook was set up with a fresh Windows 10 installation. Some users find it more challenging to create a local account during setup and believe internet access is necessary for that process. However, you were able to proceed by pressing "I don’t have Internet" just before the prompt appeared. Now you see the option for a local account. This is exactly what you needed. Why would it be more complicated?

Microsoft seems off track, just like you. You're all set—downloaded the enterprise ISO for testing in VMs and everything works as before.

I was curious about this since every guide insists on disconnecting from the internet when prompted for your Microsoft account, but I haven’t found a method that works for me. That’s why I’m reaching out.

Absolutely, that’s ridiculous. You’ve never unplugged your LAN cable when setting up accounts.

I performed an installation yesterday (using a USB created from version 1903) and connected the laptop. The local account was offered as an alternative.

It resembled that scenario, yet a particular version made it disappear. You needed an alternative approach; most videos recommend creating an account and then disconnecting the internet. For me, simply typing "I have no internet" on the prompt worked.
