Is there a way to access all previous games and programs from your Windows.old directory? You mentioned needing to reinstall, so I’ll check if you can open those apps directly or if you need to reinstall them entirely.

No, you don’t need to remove everything from windows.old and reinstall all programs. You can choose which files to keep or delete as needed.

You may retain windows.old if you intend to roll back the upgrade, though usually it's not necessary and you should remove it. Every application must be reinstalled.

There is an old windows folder available for saving files from the previous installation, though the programs are no longer functional. You can transfer documents, photos, and other items to a fresh setup and remove the outdated folder.

You can retrieve configuration files from Windows.old. However, for the latest software, the best approach is to reinstall. For games, you can set up the platform and direct it to the game file location.
