When visiting public places like airports, buses, trains, stations, or restaurants, public Wi-Fi is usually available but requires accepting terms or logging in on a website to connect. Your concern is whether you can manage this yourself using your sitecom 300Mbps connection—yes, it’s possible. You should access the server at 192.168.1.1 and use the provided login details to gain access for guests.

Opt for a decent access point with a captive portal instead of a weak Wi-Fi setup. The top method involves costly server systems.

They likely implement a straightforward DNS-based redirection. The client connects to the AP, which retrieves its DNS address or uses a dedicated server, then forwards any requested web URLs to the Wi-Fi login page hosted on a local network web server. I thought that was the usual method, but I might be mistaken.

You can purchase a Mikrotik HAP Mini which includes a built-in hotspot. You need to create your own webpage, though there is a pre-set option available.
