Hi, I'm searching for an app that lets me remotely connect, control, or transfer files between PCs on my home network. I need something reliable, fast, and secure without relying on public servers. Any suggestions?

You can use Microsoft RDP, but you didn’t set it up properly for it to function. TeamViewer works well over a local network—just make sure LAN connections are enabled in its settings—and it doesn’t need internet access or a server connection.

I'll look into TeamViewer. Microsoft RDP isn't fully reliable for me.

Are you sure? I've relied on RDP for over a decade both professionally and personally without any problems. Could there be an obstacle like a firewall preventing the connection?
