I recently purchased a new PC and was eager to start playing DayZ SA, which I thought would be a great upgrade over my previous i5 650 and GTX 750 Ti. After downloading the game, I encountered an issue where I was banned from the game. I reached out to Battleye multiple times without getting a response, checked the Steam forums, and was told I couldn't ask for help with bans. Now I’m wondering if there’s a way to avoid having to repurchase the game.
The issue is that 'hackers' will always refuse to admit they've done it. I'm not claiming you used hacks, but I'm suggesting you're likely still banned, which is what they all say.
Acknowledge the situation honestly. If you weren't involved in hacking or modding, it's likely you were misled or using established exploits. Battleye doesn't penalize people for using fraps, overlays, or similar tools.
Absolutely, my perspective is clear... But it's hard to say for sure if there was an issue or something more complex at play. Could be a glitch in the system or even the Illuminati involved? (Just kidding, I’m not going that far.)
