Hello everyone, I’m having trouble connecting to the internet again. I thought using Avast Premium Security would help, but this problem began just a couple of days ago. Even after turning it off or uninstalling it, I still can’t access the web.

It appears the software was likely added through a VPN or tunneling method, often for security reasons—but these are usually scams. Avast isn’t necessary right now. Check your network settings to identify any activated features and consider resetting them if needed.

I attempted to remove Avast, but the problem persists. It’s confusing since I can use Brave without issues.

Confirming the reboot after uninstallation. Checking for additional avast applications that might be bundled—some firms distribute software in several separate files instead of one unified installer. Also scanning for avast browser extensions on either problematic browsers.
