You're encountering issues because the Windows file transfer service requires a username and password to authenticate. Since you've turned off password protection in Advanced Sharing and removed your Microsoft account credentials, the system can't verify your identity. To resolve this, ensure you have a valid Microsoft account linked to your PC or use an alternative authentication method if available.

You performed everything without any benefit, just needed to grant the folder an "Anonymous logon" access. Password protection is required for SMB shares unless you enable it. After setting that, select "Anonymous Login" from the options in that window.

You don’t have to use a Microsoft account to log in. It’s generated automatically when you install Windows if there’s an internet connection. You’ll still sign in using your regular local PC account, not the MS account.
