I rarely play Minecraft, but when I do, the installer ignores my username and blocks access. This is really frustrating since the only way to let it recognize me is by changing my name, which I can only do once a month. The Bedrock version works just fine. Essentially, I’m limited to playing Java Edition no more than every 30 days due to this issue, even though I paid for it! If anyone has any suggestions on how to resolve this, I’d really appreciate it. Edit: sometimes restarting the installer a few times helps, but it doesn’t always work. You're currently connected to your Microsoft/Xbox account in the Launcher. After restarting it six times, it seems to have worked properly and let you start the game, so it appears to be functioning correctly at this moment.
