So, I bought AW and I'm enjoying it so far, but there seems to be mouse acceleration in the game no matter what settings I choose or what "fix" I am using for this. Mouse acceleration in the menu is unchecked, it is set to 0 in the config file, steam overlay is turned off, the game is set to "normal" priority in the taskmanager, enhanced pointer precision in windows 8.1 is turned off, etc. To everyone who has the game right now: Do you have these issues as well? Could you find a solution or are you simply accepting it right now? For the people who are not sure, an easy way of testing for mouse accel is to line up your vertical crosshairs with a doorframe, put your mouse at the very edge of your mousepad, quickly turn right or left and then slowly go back to the edge of your mousepad again. If your crosshairs are at the exact same spot as before (the doorframe or whatever you were using as a point of reference) then there is no mouse acceleration. If it isn't then there is an issue. It is by no means gamebreaking and I've heard some streamers talk about it (and most of them did fine regardless) but there seems to be very little talk about it in general.

Based on your mouse model, it might be enabled through its firmware settings. Certain laser mice include acceleration features within the firmware that remain active, which explains why many FPS gamers prefer the traditional optical design.

Zowie Evo Ec1 features an optical sensor that's completely flawless and doesn't detect any mouse movement. Since there are no software issues or special drivers needed, the problem likely isn't related to the operating system.

Some speed boosts in multiplayer aren't visible unless you reduce your mouse polling rate to around 125.

I just tested it, but it doesn't function properly. The mouse acceleration remains active.

It assists you, but I wasn't sure how I expressed my intent clearly. It seems the issue isn't fully resolved yet.

It's a disappointment because the rest of the game looks quite refined so far. If they address this issue and performance improves in some areas, I'd wholeheartedly suggest it. It's really enjoyable and engaging otherwise. Hopefully, the launch day or early week problems will be resolved. After testing, it seems more stable. To be honest, it's not perfect, but I perform much better at 125Hz than 1000Hz, and my aim stays consistently accurate.

Looking for your s1_mp64_ship to use as a multiplier or your s1_sp64_ship for solo mode. Right-click the tool you're using, go to the compatibility tab, verify compatibility with Windows 7, and make sure display scaling is turned off on high DPI settings. Adjusting the mouse polling rate to 8ms or 125Hz could help, though that didn't work for me.

No changes made. I didn't run a test at 1000Hz under those conditions, though it seemed identical at 125Hz.
