So, I began playing the game yesterday and immediately observed that the lighting, including shadows in dark scenes, appears very unusual. All blacks shift into some blackish or greenish tones, making the screen image resemble a negative photograph. This only occurs in dark scenes or when facing light sources with glare, causing everything to darken due to the intense effect. Is this part of the design or a graphics issue? I haven’t encountered anything similar in other games before. I even adjusted the contrast and brightness settings, but it didn’t resolve the problem. Outside the game, during daylight, everything looks great and there are no issues. But in dark rooms or at night, the game becomes really strange.

My system is an 8700k/RTX2080/16GB/m2.ssd setup with the newest Nvidia game driver (released 11/9). I play at 1440p using the highest presets (except for no motion blur and volumetric clouds on high settings).

This is really bothersome...

Anyone else experiencing this or having a similar issue in other games?

Problem resolved: The contrast adjustment was initially set excessively. Everything is now fine. I feel a bit self-conscious...
