I've noticed others experiencing the same problem where the game freezes, stops working, or crashes before reaching the main menu. It passes through the initial screens but never continues beyond that point. This update turned a functional game into one that doesn't work at all.

For Nvidia cards, use the beta drivers (347.09). They function well for me and provide a minor speed improvement.
