AC Unity represents a total failure.
AC Unity represents a total failure.
I've invested around three hours and already don't enjoy it. First, why are there so many crowds? It seems Ubisoft is only adding a huge number of NPCs to make the environment look busy, but it actually complicates navigation—you have to push and shove just to move. You're constantly being attacked by the red-clad players, and you can't go anywhere without facing danger. I've had to change my position multiple times because I was shot or stabbed by random redshirts scattered everywhere. I also accidentally attacked blue-clad players when I intended to target criminals, and the game's story feels uninspired. The controls are awkward; pressing the space bar and up keys doesn't work as expected, leaving me vulnerable. The combat has dropped significantly compared to what I liked before, especially since my save file was lost due to Ubisoft's weak cloud storage. Anyone here who's seen AC Unity? The game's world looks great, but it's just poorly executed overall. I hope Ubisoft takes this feedback and improves Syndicate.
