AC: Syndicate Issue

Hey everyone, I just installed AC Syndicate on my new machine. Every time I launch it, it shows the "WARNING: READ BEFORE PLAYING" screen about seizures, then stays there without doing anything. The game files look good on uPlay, but it still doesn’t work. Got any suggestions or fixes?

I checked the source directly. The game was obtained from Steam, and it came in a physical copy (TPB).

Are you using the game on a different operating system than Windows? If yes, consider relocating it elsewhere or perform a disk check and defragmentation of the current drive.
