Evening all. My I7 6700K struggles with BF1 and I keep getting stuttering on AC Origins using a GTX 1070. I'm unsure what to do since even cutting back most programs only frees up about 90% of the CPU, which isn't enough for the game. Anyone know a solution for either of them? AC Origins seems to cool down a bit after a while. Thanks.

Your main temperatures while playing are consistent and stable.

Around 80°C but it runs at 4.5GHz, which seems typical

Regarding the task manager, I'm checking the current settings. For performance, I'm monitoring FPS and resolution to ensure optimal operation.

It’s a Ubisoft title wrapped in two levels of digital restrictions that seem to devour its core features.

Task manager reports the game consumes almost every available resource, consistently exceeding 90% utilization. This forces other programs like Uplay to run at full capacity. Despite playing on Ultra at 1080p, medium and high settings don’t improve performance; in fact, the CPU usage seems to increase further.

Someone likely has the right information to resolve the issue.

In the early days of AC, that seems quite typical. I’m not sure what’s with the bf1 part, even at the highest settings like 1080p.

Lowering the performance settings lets your CPU allocate more frames for your display. The only solution is adding more cores.

Someone is seeking an alternative to the official release, specifically a cracked version, since Ubisoft hasn't offered one despite it being available shortly after launch. It's regrettable that paying customers face a worse experience compared to those who download illegally. (Keep in mind that discussing piracy is allowed, but guidance on obtaining such versions violates our policies.)
